Download UNSIGNED file, sign it to your IMEI #, load Route66 onto phone's memory card. Load maps onto memory card in system\apps\Route66\maps
You are good to go.

When i try to install it says certificate expired and will not let me install.

Hello.. I am having a problem with Route 66 Ver 7.0.3489 and my Blackjack. When im using R66 and i get a phone call my phone will ring but when i hit the answer key it doesn't answer the call until 3 rings later. When i close R66 i still get the lag until i reboot the phone. This happens about 90% of the time. If i don't start R66 my phone answers right away. I tried reinstalling to this and another Blackjack and the problem was still there. Any help would be appreciated. Also is there a list of gps software that works with the Blackjack (non-touch screen).

This forum seems to be the best and most active of the ones of viewed. Did you renamed your cert to xxxxxx.cer, are you using autosignsis, more info would help me help you

yes I renamed the .cer file and dont have this autosignsis file.... what i have is
signer.bat and signsis file also few other files...

Put the cert file in the same folder as your signing tool, the "Unsign sis" is what ever you are trying to sign. In your case I take it the Route66v7.3.545.unsign file

you need to rename the certificate from 123456121234567.cer to xxxxxx.cer and then place this file into the same folder as the signsis.exe and sultan.key, etc

then run the auto_SignSis.bat and all is done....!

download my sign your app v2.0 tool from this thread,

do a search for "Sign Your Apps v2.0" this little program will make signing easy for anyone !

then run the program click on the app, certificate and signing key (e.g. Sultan.key)

click sign app

now copy the signed app to the phone and install from file manager

then copy the maps into the \system\app\route66\maps folder and all is done

it's easy as 1-2-3

you need to rename the certificate from 123456121234567.cer to xxxxxx.cer and then place this file into the same folder as the signsis.exe and sultan.key, etc

then run the auto_SignSis.bat and all is done....!

I got the same problem like you, but i fixed that, want to share with you, when you rename of your cer file just only rename XXXXXX, don't rename XXXXXX.cer, :)

route 66 7.3.545 doesn't work on the n82 at the moment, try garmin xt it's better in maps, supports poi's

Quick questions
I have followed your previous post to install the Garmin XT software.
I did ;
A) installed the S60 software
B) installed the support files
C) created a folder named POI (in the Garmin folder) and put the POI file in it

Use file manager on your phone, go in and look at the SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL, MAKE SURE THERE IS NO .TXT EXTENSION BEHIND IT.

Most new PC will hide know extension so you don't see the .txt there, unless when you click on SAVE AS you chose All files.

Start Garmin XT, go into Settings>Remote GPS and enable internal GPS

`Connection only allowed to Garmin GPS device on;y'

i don't have the option to enable the internal GPS. I know the internal GPS works because i have used if for Nokia Maps

Yes that's exactly the problems, the SW.UNL is what let you use the internal GPS.
Use Keygen to get code just like the GMAPSUPP.UNL (no .txt behind it) put in Garmin folder.

I'm not familiar with route 66 and just installed it on my smartphone - tomtom would not work.

It seems very odd how route 66 searches for an address and so far I have not figured it out. When I enter in street number and city it want to give me a point of interest - not physicall address. What is the proper way of inputting the address into that one line? (city first, parentheses required?)

OK, first what program are you trying to install? Route66 or Garmin XT?

Route66 DOES NOT need the SW.UNL file. Somehow things got cross and peoples are posting infos about Garmin in this thread.

OK GUYS I SLOVED MY PROBLEM.i have nokia 6120(s60 9.3)and the tomtom version 6.02 works just fine,version 6.01 doesnt wotk on my phone.so all with the samr probs try the 6.02 version.hope i helped someone with this info

Yes you can run more than one program from the memory card,

one one of my symbian phones i've got TomTom, Route 66 and Garmin XT all installed to the same memory card with no problems at all!

It's my first time here...and struggling to make thouse GPS software work on my N82.

I went to use my TomTom Go 510 yesterday and it would not start up, I have gone through the usual procedure of emailing Tom Tom, who advised me to remove my SD card and press the reset button, this however had no effect whatsoever, it still remains shutdown, although if i plug it in to charge (240v) then the green charging light still lights up and will switch on, I have no idea whats wrong.

Hi! This is my first post, so it is obviously going to be a noob question, or is it?
Ok, seriously now; my sister bought me a brand new Nokia 6110 Navigator. The only problem is that I cannot transfer any maps from pc to phone and vica versa 'cause of Route 66 software (Nokia map manager couldn't transfer the map) . The phone came preinstalled with 1.09 Route 66 software (and I have the dvd with the same version for the pc) and I can see that you guys have the version 7 (what happened between 1 - 7:D?). I cannot understand how could they sell the phone with such an old version of R66; my phone firmware is up to date! I tried updating to .7 version legally but failed (pasted from the Route 66 site : "Mobile 7 S60 V2/3 These updates will only work if you have bought a "ROUTE 66 Mobile 7" product. The update requires the original "ROUTE 66 Mobile 7" product.
This update is both for 2nd edition and 3rd edition supported phones."

So I guess that these maps are not compatible with my version of Route 66 'cause they are intended for the .7 version, right?:confused:
I have tried to install the new version but haven't succeeded...:(
I would appreciate any help concerning Route 66 (how to install the new version and transfer maps).
I've also read here that everyone has to have an individual certificate (I guess that is the reason that I get the "expired certificate" message; I've tried changing the date but that didn't do much).

My IMEI is 357666010726450 and I would be very grateful if you could make my certificate.

P.S. A long first post....I hope not too long.:D I'm from Croatia, but the mobile was bought in Germany so I have only Germany installed (if someone knows how to transfer Germany to pc I would gladly send him/her the map if needed). Of, course if someone has Croatia please PM me.

3. Download (free) from TomTom website the Clear Flash tool. http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1&query=mac+files&FID=6178
4. Reload youir backup.

I downloaded Aussie map prg and i put that in system/apps/route66/maps

Now when I try to start the application it flashes on and off too fast to read but it looks something like activation.

please help i have managed everything else so far.

Now it said activation was succesful, I switched off and now it still goes to the Welcome to the activation screen at the bottom it says (map undefined 7 )

1, your nokia 6630 doesn't take a mini sd it takes rs-mmc
2, do a factory reset on the phone by pressing * + 3 + Green Button and Power on while holding all three buttons
3, install tomtom again
4, this method should work fine!

Could anyone please provide a cert for the EMEI no. 356983014268335 for route 66 or if anyone can provide the DEV Cert for all programs as i have the software to certify the programs but when installing on older cert it says restrictions on cert.????

Can anyone pls help me:
I'm using the 545 version of R66 on my N95 and it works fine to a certain point. the gps works fine. however when it comes to make a route or navigate to somewhere, the program quits instantly without any error message. this is very strange, i already formated the card and made a master reset to my mobile. i have the latest fw. anyone have an idea? thx

Can anyone point me in the direction of a manual or instruct me on how to create a route and does it move with you and tell you where to turn etc?

Well if you did it right it's suppose to show you your position on the map, and will give you voice guidance with turn by turn. You can go to Route66 website and download the instruction manual

Route66 web site is down can anybody help with a little instruction.
I am getting confused. Do i need to add waypoints before I can make a route?
Does it automatically tell you where to go as you drive or do you have to press the up button?

How should i go about installing it to phone. I did drag n drop it in memory card of phone, it shows the 7 files but thats it.(was placed in file mgr, under other in mem card). Was that the right way off doing it.

1, download the tomtom 6.02 for symbian phones (Posted on 1st Pages)
2, either copy via memory card reader or direct transfer via the phone
3, switch phone on and insert the memory card
4, you should now get a installing message (if not backup phone memory and factory reset)
5, restore phone memory backup if needed
6, all done

I have a nokia n73 with tomtom installed when i try to use it i get no maps found displayed. I have had the map displyed but i do not know were it went.The map is g.b. and the rep of ireland.
