ok... im working this phone with infinity box. i got the PAN X60 cable, THE SAME CABLE THAT I ´VE USED FOR W375 W370 ETC..... you says that i only can flash this model. but But I cannot connect this model. it always gives me the mistake that already mentions you.

i think u misunderstood my post. w376g is most likely to be a w377 but K3 these new tracfones cant be flashed, only LP. if infinity doesnt have full backup for w376g then stop trying. read with more care next time.

W175 and W175g are not same. W175g is K3, can't be flashed yet.

@sweetboy i guess u didnt read the first message i posted. only solution i know right now is with rockerdongle. thanks to celhack theres a full backup on support. if u dont have rockerdongle then i cant help u now. ur phone will always remain like that until flashed with correct tracfone firmware.

please dont be lazy, i already explained this. go to support and look for w376g full backup, download it and flash ur phone as w377 and it will be 0K. new w376g, w175g, w260 and others that might be out there are K3 and only langpack can be flashed.

yes u get it unlocked but it still wont work.
they say they can give u unlock code, but thats not good enough, these phones need flashing too, tracfone or net10 software cannot work with generic gsm networks like cingular or tmobile or any other.
and k3 moto cannot be full flashed just language until now.

So what I am understanding is that I am not able to flash this fone but can i get my old sim card contacts (not tracfone) on to my new fone or its sim.

I need to no if theres any way to by pass where they locked out the usb and bluetooth from connecting to a pc..

I am not able to W260g Tracfone flash to use in this model scout or infinity, I unlock it and now only appears on the display "Phone is hacked" is thus only showing on display.

W376g can be unlocked with smart clip(i didn't tried with infinity);conect it like W377 and works ok,the phone gets unlocked without problems.The real problem come when you try to use it because won't work:w376g trackfone liike the model that i have it.is only 850/1900 MHz.A solution to convert it to 900/1800 MHz band will be very good.

Can you verify that you unlocked it with smart clip? I do not need to convert it, just need it unlocked and air tank removed.

this phone need flashing and not unlocking to work with generic gsm service provider. so dont try to unlock if u cant flash it and it cant be flashed to generic gsm yet.

What sucks about this is that Tracfone went to court to try and stop consumers from using there phones with other carriers and lost. Which essentially makes the use of the subsidy lock illegal.

Has anyone tried contacting Warlox Wireless, they seem to think that have a sim chip that will open up and cellphone, I wrote to them but I have gotten no reply.

Also I noticed that you can only access the tracfone website and only use there products which takes us back to Micrsoft and the lawsuit that they lost, making it illegal for them to corner the market on tech. I contacted consumer affairs but I doubt they will do anything. For no more reason then selling ringtones at 5 bucks each when the whole song only cost a buck from Itunes.

Hmmm o.K. Firmware or flashing, question is which has been proven to work. See i could care less about changing service providers I just want to be able to download my own ringtone and images from my computer. I was told that the OBEX file are not in the phone and under the MMS message setting by the download it has defer beside it, not to mention the BSAFE is enabled. So which firmware of flashing application will allow these features.

here is the problem: 376g cannot be flashed since it has K3 security, only language can be changed and that's not good enough to make it work with generic gsm providers.

If your only reason for wanting to unlock the W376g is for your own ringtones and wallpapers......

Send an SMS text message to your email address to determine your tracfone's email address. In the first line of of the text, put your email address, then a space, then the message. (Testing texting, 1, 2, 3...) Send the message to 36245(email). My tracfone's email address is xxxxxxxxxx@txt.att.net. Then replace txt in the address with mms. Now download JPGs or MIDIs you would like to use on your fone for wallpapers or ringtones. Just email them as attachments to your fone. Easy. The most it could cost you is 5 units, much less than a ringtone from tracfone.

hi, tracfone phones can`t be unlocked because of it has no hardware to work on gsm networks such as telcel, movistar, at$t, etc.
maybe changing parts of hardware it`s possible to become a gsm as motorola w376 in w375 but I`m still working on that.
