Hi, I need some help with a 939 FW4,0V 230600 1714 with hardware failure, but with no eeprom !!!!!!
Field 231 is protected and also in hotline menu there is no PROM option.

there are only 2 solution
one off them for mine.
1.take out eeprom 231 00 this known metod.......
2.give 5 volts to pin 1 to your soket and read my old topic I don't know excatly where I told all off this solution before

I've clearly specified that there is no eeprom inside, if it would, the phone would've been to the customer by now !!!!

As for second method you better be more explicit.

P.S. Maybe downgrade will help, but I don't know what file to use,
phone being D2-S7 with no eeprom.

and in option Prom i can only read Imei,

You can try the fix231 (Bootstrap)Tool from Hannes, perhapes this works for your firmware, too.
Or you can change field 268 from 0C 00 to 0C 01 and restore the checksums for this field. Then you can start the phone again, even if the counter is at 05 or more ...
Then you can enter the correct unlock-code (if your field 5374 is untouched) and i hope, this resets the counter to 0, too and unlockes the phone...

Here it is..
But now, i see.. It is not suitable for mr_x4yous phone.
Its made for MW930 FF3.1T (1905) (I successfully tested it with this version), but perhapes it works for other MW 9xx phones, too.

Tried that already, not working !
