Sorry.... Forget about that part.....

Just download Garmin Mobile XT, the basemap and the support-files
Install them
Use key generator to generate a key for your device
Put the key into a file called SW.UNL and save it in the garmin folder on your device.
The software should now be unlocked and be able to find/use the GPS.
Upload your unlocked maps from Mapsource.

Thats it....

Regards

Mike

Have you enabled your Bluetooth in the phone? Have you paired your GPS with the phone?

If your unit-number is correct, and you have generated the rigt unlock code, you might have to enable your GPS.

Go to Settings > System > Remote GPS > and "Enable or Disable"

Regards

Mike

Is it showing unit ID? The card ID or unit ID is the same....

Are you installing on a SD-card or on the harddrive of the phone?

No, I do not have skype etc......

Please check you saved the file as SW.UNL and not as SW.UNL.TXT....

I am not realy an expert in unlocking the software (I can not realy remember how I did it), and maby you should look somewhere else in this forum.....

Regards

Mike

Check the size of both files:
ROAD2008.part1.rar 238 MB (250.000.000 byte)
ROAD2008.part2.rar 185 MB (194.614.574 byte)

Do both your files have the same size?

If not - download again.

Or else do as fugglefeet wrote....

Rightclick on ROAD2008.part1.rar and select "Extract to ROAD2008"....

In this case both the files will be joined to ROAD2008.nrg

Regards

Mike
