the way you posted was if the charging fuse has b-l-o-w-n to bypass it, i'm still working on the way to repair tomtom one's v3-v4 with green light problems

but when i figure it out i'll post it for you

green light

I *THINK* that if the green light comes on but no other signs of life and you've tried all forms of reset, check for one of 3 chips,
they are all about 3mmx3mm. and may be covered by screening cans.
LTC3411 (marked LTQT) (dc-dc converter)
LTC1733 (marked LTLX) (battery charger)
SP62000 (marked AIH ) (dc-dc converter)

The first 2 are made by linear technology and the last one by Texas Instruments.

these are TINY and need a steady hand to change......

it was the sp62000 in a friend's GO that had a tiny hole in it as a result of a faulty charger.
If anyone has proper schematics of any of the tomtoms PLEASE could I have a copy?
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi
Is the fuse you mention referenced 'FB2' near the usb connector? Is this the charging fuse that fails?
