Can some 1 please give me step by step guide on how to change IMEI number! Am gettin conflicting messages from several forums! Some say it can be done some say it cant be done!

Av got the mm loader software but cant get the 1 to display do i need to select full errase to get it to work?

Then once i get this working do i need to get a proper imei number or can i just make 1 up! also if i have to have a proper one does it have to be from a blackberry or any dead mobile?

The reason i want to change imei number is lost my phone got a new one off insurance then found the lost one so want to change it so the lost one works again! also could i not just cloan the new imei and pin?

Sorry if these questions have already been asked i have looked but cant find them!

i dont think u can change imei for 8900 , 9500 , not support with MFI also with furious-gold not support im also need to change imei for 8900 , 9500 i have more than 300 pcs i'm still searching been 1 week and didnt find solution .

plz any one change imei for 8900 or 9500 post result .
