In this tutorial you will see how to flash lg cookie with new firmware.

1.) BACKUP
- First off all you should make a backup of your phone files (contacts, messages ...) because after flashing, all the files saved on the phone will be erased. I recommend that you use LG PC SuiteII.
- Dont forget to unplug your phone.

2.)DOWNLOAD GSMULTI AND FIRMWARE
FIRMWARE LG KP500 KP500AT-00-V10n-DEC-17-2008 (v10N) NEW!

FLASHER LG - MultiGSM ver 3.0 + kp500 .dll file

3.)INSTALL THE SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS - DRIVERS WORKS ONLY ON XP WINDOWS
(Don't connect your phone on computer yet)

Downloaded files should be un-ziped (I unziped them in one folder which i made it on desktop)

You got next files:
program
- SETUP_GSMULTI_V30
- KP500_081002.dll

firmware
- KP500AT-00-V10n-CIS-XXX-DEC-17-2008
- KP500AT-00-V10n-CIS-XXX-DEC-17-2008.bin.mbn

3.1.) Install GSMULTI (SETUP_GSMULTI_V30). The icon will shows on your desktop otherwise the program install on C disk, folder GSMULTI
- start GSMULTI
- select: Settings/Configuration

- put .dll file and firmware file in and choose USB then click OK and close program

3.2.)Install DRIVERS (INFINEON and TI_NEPTUNE)
Drivers to be found in install folder of GSMMULTI program. My path is C:\GSMULTI\UsbDrivers

- First install INFINEON
- Second TI_NEPTUNE

4.) PREPARE AND CONNECT YOUR PHONE
- Now u take a phone (shut it down) and remove, BATTERY, SIM CARD and MEMORY CARD then
- conect it with your USB cable to computer (I suggest that u connect only in one USB port on computer)
- wait about one minute that comuputer recognize new device

5.) USBMap PROGRAM
- Run program USBMap_V01 (which can be found in C:\GSMULTI)
- Select INFINEON and then click MAPPING START

-WAIT (about one minute) that USBMAP will find USB port where is the phone connected
- When the port will be found click on (select it) and press SAVE&EXIT

6.)MAIN PART - FLASHING
- Run GSMULTI program (shourtcut is in your desktop)
- Check if settings/configuration are the same like we set it before (otherwise look step 3.1.)

- Now its everything ready to start flashing
- Check MODEL and SW VERSION and if that is correct just click START and wait until the program finished

- And voila, here we have a new firmware version

conter blocked is not the furious team fault...

network lock
network subset lock
service provider lock
coporate locl
sim/usim lock
just tap on "network lock" menu will pop up entre code n press ok mobile should restart n unlocked!!

I Saw Ur Above Comment In Most Of Threads Regarding Above Problem.
If U Had A KP500 In Ur Hand I Think U Wouldnt Give This Inofrmation.Because When u Entre 2945*#71001# The Menu Which POp Up Only Says Key And Ok When U Press Ok Nothing Happens When U Press Key Then u Have To Put Unlock Code Which Is 8 Digits affter That When U press Ok Nothing Happens Ur Above Solution Doesnt Work.

I Can only Say If Hacker Can Solve This Problem,plz Hacker There Is Alot of KP500 Fones in offer which is not suported can u plz give us solution plz.
