hI, I have vmware workstation 6.5.0

windows vista home premium
and vm windows xp sp3
I´m triing to install polar box 2.
When I plug the box, vmware driver conect with wxp and detect correct ftdi and micro drivers but when i try to run polar nothing to happend.

Anybody works fine?

Not in the world evrything can work virtually ,somthings do but somethings need to be real

AS POLAR BOX is a real solution for GSM SERVICING u need to use with real windows XP -sp2 or SP3 and u will see how powerfull device is POLARBOX.

Today I complete and configure vmware and result was....

KM900 codes readed in virutal Windows XP sp3 with Polar Box 2....

Then... Polar can works in vmware virtual machine.


This is the news, if anybody need help to configure send me PM.

Nice to hear that you ran PolarBox2 software under vmware :)
About this software really i not tested, then I cant tell you info.

Btw, Im running Polar software under Linux and using VirtualBox
Im using Debian Squeeze since one bastard send me a trojan.
My version of VirtualBox is 3.0.4 r50677 and all features are working totally 100%
You can use this as "variant" if you need it ...

P.D. Only thing is that you must run under root priviledges (uid0), cause if not USB ports not will be redirected and you need it ...
