there is an annoying software fault which has manifested itself - the screen disappears when certain menu functions are selected.... its not to do with the elastomer or the LCD as the phone is practically brand new....

can i just flash the phone using a program and a datacable or do i need one of those Griffin things to do it ?

Please advice me one which program that will do it

Thanks

Rich

i am not doubting your wisdom DrMobile but are you sure? but surely if it only turns off when i go on certain functions then its somthing to do with the software? is this a common problem that you have seen before, or has any1 else heard of fixing this problem before by just changing the LCD ?

Thanks very much for relpying Wahab
