Hi,

I've been searching this forum and the internet for days to help find a solution for my problem.

Model:
SGH-i688

When I switch it on, it asks for a password, regardless of the status of the SIM-card (meaning it doesn't matter if the original, a new or no SIM-card at all is inserted) Obviously, I don't know the password.

I tried all the 0000, or 00000000 the 1234, the IMEI or part of it, the PIN for the SIM-cards, inserting a SIM-card after the phone is powered on. I tried a soft reset, holding the different keys while powering up to figure out if there is a hard reset option (haven't found it yet)

I can't use the override codes posted so far for Samsung because I only see numbers on the touch screen when I switch the phone on, no # or *

I don't know the last number of the phone. The only information in the internet seems to be in Chinese (Chinese model, original SIM card from China Mobile)

I already contacted Smsung, without luck so far.

Anyone any ideas? What else can I do?
