got a siemens m35i which works excellent with the data cable. however cant find correct software for the a50?? was told it would work.

can anyone tell me where i can get software for the a50 data cable and phone?

I really need to get this data cable to work as the phone is a present for my partner and want to put things on and unlock it.

cable for x35 is same as for A50, but if you want unlock/read/write flash to A50 you need to use test point

Just ran unlock software: SIEMENS.x35.SERVICE.PROVIDER.UNLOCKER.v2.0

and now phone is dead.

it wont turn on, when power lead inserted to charge it just turns on then turns off.

Test point: i cant locate it on the website you specified?? I have a serial cable for the siemens a50+m35 plus others. If i use test point i will be able to upload/unlock/ and service the a50 wont i??

testpoint isnt some software its a way of disabling the lock!!

Now i know how to do that what software can i use to upload logos and ringtones through the serial cable to a50??
