Samsung SoftBank 709SC [Questions] - GSM-Forum

I'm not 100% sure if it belongs here. Feel free to move this thread to the appropriate forum just in case.

Here are the problems I'm having with my phone.

Signal is OUT - It doesn't show any bars, and whenever I try to call someone it says "Out Of Service". Here are some info that you might need to know to help me:

Location - Philippines

Sim Card - Talk N' Text

Connectivity >> Network Selection - Automatic

Connectivity >> Network Mode - Automatic

Long Messages Fails to Send - It seems that whenever I try to send a long text message, it converts it to S! Mail, so it fails. Is there anyway that my phone would just send long text messages as text/sms, instead of anything else.
