Iphone 7 - had liquid - no boot after charged

My daughters Iphone 7 fell in the sink for a couple of seconds. She dried it and noticed that a diagonal band on the screen was lighter than usual. No other visible damage. Phone was working. She charged it overnight and it died. Phone had evidence of water ingress, sim was wet when opened. Dried the phone with a dessiccant for 4 days but no boot. After 4 days I have opened the phone and found no water anymore. Water indicators are both red. Measured voltage on battery = 4.3V, so completely charged. No short on VDD_Main. Disassembled the logic board and couldn't find corroded components. Reassembled everything, cleaned all connectors with alcohol. No charge current draw with lightning cable, no detection on usb, no boot at all, not even with the volume button and power pressed for 1 minute. I didn't look underneat the plastic tape yet as I have little clue where to start looking for without doing more damage. I have good experience with electronics, but never worked on anything on this small scale. Have SMD solder equipment, DSO, frequency generator, lab DMM and lab PSU's available but no practical microscope Are there testpoints available that can be used without having to pull the black carbon tape from the mainboard ? Pity that IP67 doesn't mean anything in an Apple device.

No I don't have such a tester. If it's not too expensive, I might buy one
