iPhone 7 PP_VDD_MAIN fixed but still problem. - GSM-Forum

Fixed short on PP_VDD_MAIN. Took Q2101 off because it was passing current to PP_BATT_VCC when battery or supply was given to J2210 connector.

Short was filter capacitor below BBPMU. Removed. No need to replace as it was to ground. put new Q2101 in place of old one.

After the short was gone I tested the phone. It turns on with only the backlight and iTunes says phone is in recovery mode. Tried to do an update. Apple logo appears when the phone reboots but then it restarts back to backlight only. iTunes reports error 4013.

Any ideas? Should I try replace Q2101 again? Anyone else had similar scenario?

I have a 7 exactly as you mention, only the backlight.
in my case when you try to power on the apple logo shows for one second and then only backlight, iTunes and 3u shows recovery mode, cant restore or something.. U2 is measured working, the client said to me it was on standby and when he took it again never receive a feedback or something from the phone, came to me with battery 2.4v
forgot to mention error 4013 to me also
