Consists of 15 digit codes. IMEI is used as your mobile identification number. Inside there is information about the country code, assembling code, manufacturing code, and serial number. In addition can be identified on the back of the phone, IMEI number can be known by punching the code * # 06 #. If the IMEI number obtained is different from that contained in the EIR, you can be sure your phone is genuine but fake or has experienced IMEI modification. These include illegal and may be subject to criminal offenses. IMEI can also be your guide, especially if you buy a used mobile phone. With IMEI, you can find out the status of your phone, where it was created, and the year of production. IMEI format The default IMEI format is a 15 digit number translated in AA BBBB CC DDDDDD E format where: ~ AA Country Code ~ BBBB Code Final Assembly ~ CC Manufacturing Code ~ DDDDDD Serial Number ~ E additional code Combined AA and BBB are often referred to as Type Approval Code (TAC). The manufacturing code shows the identity of the mobile phone maker. Each vendor has a specific code as shown in the following table: ~ 01.02 AEG ~ 07, 40 Motorola ~ 10, 20 Nokia ~ 30 Ericsson ~ 40, 41, 44 Siemens ~ 47 Option International ~ 50 Bosch ~ 51 Sony ~ 51 Siemens ~ 51 Ericsson ~ 60 Alcatel ~ 70 Sagem ~ 75 Dancall ~ 80 Philips ~ 85 Panasonic How to identify other codes like Country code and final assembly? Guidelines for those codes are rarely met, but there is a site that may help you solve the meaning of the code. One of them is INP. Identify mobile phone and simcard with INP INP stands for International Numbering Plans. INP is a specialist in the field of numbering planning in the field of telecommunications. They also provide a variety of services for various purposes and market segments. One of them is the Number Analysis Tool service. The Number Analysis Tool service is able to translate the digital sequence codes contained in telecommunication devices such as phone number, IMSI, IMEI, simcard number and ISPC (international signalling point codes) number. Enter the number into available fields in international format (62). Then press the analyze button. For a moment then will appear information in the country where the number is authorized, the city, and your carrier. To identify the IMEI number, the way is almost the same. Go to IMEI Number analysis menu then input your IMEI number. Then press the analyze button.
