Locked to another PC and short period? - GSM-Forum

Hi, first of all, thanks for coming up with such an all encompassing solution for recovering Huawei phones. I work with mostly Chinese branded Huawei phones and they are really easy to brick compared to what I'm used to.

I bought the 3 day access to DCPhoenix and HCU last night(21 hours ago according to gmail). An hour after I start using it a pop up comes up saying I have only two days left, right now it says I only have one day left? Does it calculate a day as 12 hours? Or automatically subtract a day at midnight or something? That seems a bit off. I have to work tomorrow and won't be able to fix my phone, so I'm hoping this isn't the case.

Another thing, I usually work on a linux machine, so I ran DC Phoenix on a Windows VM and it worked just fine. But now I need to use HCU and it won't run on a VM, I had to switch to my Windows computer, but it tells me it's locked to another PC.

It's only a 3 day license, could I possibly just get it unlocked for now? I had no idea I'd not be able to use it on my VM and now I'm stuck with a useless phone and 20 euro out of my pocket.

My username is reevezy, the same as my forum username.

PC lock this time removed. Next time will have to wait for 48h autmatic reset in order to switch computers. Everything according to info on our side is correct, you purchased 02-12, it will end on 02-15 (3 days)
