Let remove the backlight and filters before using the glue? Just desolder the backlight cable.

Hi mate, I was talking about this" What are you using to remove the old optical adhesive? On Samsung phone's its easy but iPhone 5 OCA is a pain. I have tried a few chemicals but it takes forever and they sometimes spill under the LCD and cause staining on it."

I using UV light liquid to glue the glass with LCD.After use the LCd about 1 days i have problem:
The area on the top of LCD panel near lcd flex cable. It becomes to discolor, it is turn into yellow.
I separate the lcd penal and glass out again, this discolor area is goes back to good.
but when i glue them together it looks like good but after 1 days that area is discolor again.
Any have that problem ?

Well, me, i just cleaned LCD with alcohol, without taking out the film you guys talked about. New glass arrived and just put him over the LCD without any kind of UAV liquids. It's not perfect, but it's something like 95%. So, thanks ffor all tour help. Cheers.

Anyone know what oca/loca they use in the iPhone 5? I'm looking for the one that smells like dirt. I'm using something I got off eBay but its not the same and doesn't reseparate as easily.

As to techniques...I've been using an old frame to relign the LCD but I'm doing it all upside down over a piece of glass. Use uv flashlight to cure from underneath . Solves glue getting into backlight

Did you find anything about the discoloration? I have the same problem. I think its because of backlight or low quality loca. Someone suggested me not to put backlight and frame for 24hrs.
