I have also 1 unit zte z835 from att
after entering code it shows "successfully unlocked"
and "network lock" that will prompt is gone..
but when I put a simcard, signal bars didnt show up

is there any configuration for this phone?

ZTE Z835 AT&T does not have all GSM bands, it have only GSM850/GSM1900.
It will only work with Network that supports 850/1900 bands.
