SOLUTION: projectconfig.xml file is corrupted or missing!faild to obtain the phone model information!Your download tool is not complete. Most uploaders of this tool upload just the .exe file. That is why you are the error. There is an .xml file named Projectconfig.xml. That file is missing. That is why you are seeing this error. If you have downloaded oppo flash file, you can find both the Msm8x39DownloadTool.exe and Projectconfig.xml files in the firmware folder. So, if you start the msm8x39donwloadtool.exe within the firmware folder, you will not get the error because projectconfig.xml file is there. But if you want to keep the tool separate, then create a new folder and copy both Msm8x39DownloadTool.exe and Projectconfig.xml. Then start the msm8x39dwonloadtool.exe and you will not get error.
