I have to try all with red light and blue led and with the battery and without battery with the charger and without the charger with both pieces number 2 and 3 sa does not work i have followed all your instruction and sa gives nothing you have no video with a recent models and i am sending you photos

with the adapter placed in the service connector of the logic boar for the a1502 number 2,Red LED. Now put in HDbox.
now you have 2 led blue and red
press power button, wait for power on.
Press the power button again, and keep pressed, throughout the process.
when the macbook goes out. You start the process software.
Start mac app-detect spi-save file-clear firmware look/ and icloud-Writte spi full.
after you reset pvram for 3 time..
this with cable supplied in HDbox kit.For me working in all.

some chip only with 5 wired.some process.but only 5 wired.

I test in a1502 2013-2014-2014 a1398 2014-2015 a1706 2016-17 a1708 2016-17
all it work,with mine process.with chargerd and battery,only chargerd,only with battery.
Is easy a fast.
You have to think that in identical models and year apple can have different efi chips.

The efi / icloud block has two forms, one the previous user in the macbook itself.
another from remote user.

both have different efi chip readings.
you have to try different options.

With time you can remove the block with HDbox.

for me is the best.

I have also found another type of blocking in a1706. Encryption of ssd or hdd(filevault in mac OS)the home screen is different, request apple id and password.
In other models you change SSD or HDD, problem solved.
but in new models with touchbar a1706-a1707 and macbook a1534.
The SSD is nand flash type soldered to the logicboard.
in my case the a1706 with red connector number 1 and hdbox unlocked the filevault.

Note that the firmware of the chip, is changed by apple in updates, and even having the same chip and model you can find a different firmware.

I think the team put the cart before the beu their adapter does not work he l n test on old models macbook air in the video does not work on the new models

I do not have macbook a1466 now to test. Did you try with my system? power on and then turn off without releasing and keeping the power button pressed throughout the process.

Do you update to efi software 3.0?
