Help Please Macbook pro A1398


After trying EFI unlock A1398 now i canīt turn on .

i have this backup a1398.hdb file .
and after write backup no way to start the macbook

any help please ?

For future,
If after updating content to the chip on the logic board and the computer does not start, you can try this steps:

1) Disconnect everything ( SPI adaptor, charger, internal battery),
2) Connect Charger, and press power to turn it on,
3) Connect Battery.
4) -IF still not turned on- Performing and NVRAM and or SMC reset on it.

I just did this model yesterday, and had some issues where i would get random write errors but i got it done by using SYNC instead of Write.

After that, all working perfectly.

Hi. First read full dump, then SAVE original file, then clear all locks, then write and reset SMC and NV/PRAM and turn on.
