Then, when you click verify it will try to match this image to the image that is inside the chip the moment you click verify. The fact that they do not match, HDBOX will then try to read that part again and confirm was ok readed and then compare it with the local image. The fact you have reached max 10 retrys on a single sector, means that the content of that 1) sector keeps changing ( Mac itself still controls and write to the SPI chip in that area, or mess with the reads), or 2) that the connection to the chip is not stable enough and there are read errors. For No1: The sollution is to try diffrent power states. For example: - No Battery+ no Charger+Spi Adator, - No Battery + Charger + Spi Adaptor, - Battery + Charger let computer turn on, get to lock screen then let it sleep, or, - Shut it down, press and hold power button ( do not release it ) connect SPI adaptor, read, unlock, write, then when done, release power button, For No2: This one is more easy. You first check the flex not to have any sharp bents, and to be properly inserted in both SPI adaptor and SPI connector. Then you can try lowering a bit the speed that you are using to read the SPI chip. To see what is the issue, an log will also help to see the sector and adress which causes this 10 retrys to be reached. Best regards, HDBOX Support Team |
