Bypass Screen Locks using EFT Dongle (When to use Make Kernel & When Make Recovery) - GSM-Forum

Hello EFT Dongle Users,
Today we are going to clarify for you,
How to use our two methods (Make Kernel & Make Recovery) to reset screen lock ...
Also we will clarify when and how to use Make kernel with boot.img and when and how to use Make recovery with recovery.img ..

First of all, you have to know that:
A- Make kernel method is used with old Android Versions Like Android 6.0 and lower with no data encryption ..
although it can be used with New Devices with Android 7.0 but not data encrypted like ( S6 - Note 5 & J510 Varieties )
B- Make recovery method is used with devices with Android 7.0 and above with Data encrypted !
So to make it easier for you look at this:
Make Kernel conditions :
1- Android 6.0 or lower
2- No data encryption
3- Some Android 7.0 Devices with no data encryption like S6-Note5-J510
Make Recovery conditions :
1- Android 7.0 or above
2- Data encrypted like G610-G935 ...etc

How to Make Kernel to reset screen lock using boot.img :
1- Get boot.img with same security and OS as in phone , you can download from EFT Dongle support HERE or extract from any firmware using 7zip
2- Navigate to Make Kernel section in EFT Software
3- Connect any device with adb enabled
4- Choose the boot.img you previously extracted or downloaded !
5- Hit Make kernel remove screen lock and wait till Done
6- Navigate to EFT section and choose boot.eft and flash it
7- Now your phone is unlocked without data loss

Notice : In some cases, after done steps before the phone started with a message asked to enter a password..
(it happened when we flash boot from not same firmware as in phone )
Do not worry Just flash system.img from same firmware you get the boot from and phone will boot-up successfully !

How to Make Recovery to reset screen lock using recovery.img :
1- Get recovery.img with same security and OS as in phone
2- Navigate to Make recovery Section
3- Connect and device with adb enabled
4- Choose recovery.img you previously get
5- Hit Make recovery to reset screen lock and wait till Done
6- Navigate to EFT section and flash recovery.eft.fix.eft
7- Now your phone is unlocked and you can backup your files and re-flash your phone because this operation aims to save your data and we stopped some services in the phone and need to be flashed to get to work again !

Notice : Some times after flashing recovery.eft.fix.eft the phone stuck at logo so all you need to do is flashing the stock recovery.img and the phone will boot normally and unlocked also !

Check please, this version no work G935FXXU1DQJ8, after recovery (bypass screen lock) show only RESET DEVICE. downgrade no work.

i have a problem creating j510fn kernel for screen lock, i choose boot.img connect any adb device (i really think this means any adb, like g928 or any other android phone..) and when i click make kernel i get a warning to connect adb device. click ok but nothing happens after

i have A5100 with FRP on
need to reset user lock without losing data

flashing boot.eft is blocked by frp !!!!!

The FRP must be off before flash boot.eft .

hi eft,

I have a device g532f with pattern lock and data is very very important.

frp was on and mtk secure boot also on

I used another tool with server credit to make frp off

I flashed twrp but discovered that data partition is encrypted so cant mount and delete.key

I will go buy your dongle if sure it can open this pattern lock for me
data is too important
now frp is off and can flash all tar
