Socket error - since yesterday evening [SOLVED] - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I can't even launch software since yesterday. I only get "socket error, can not connect to server" message. Tried both current 8.0.2 and even downgraded to 7.0.2 to check. Internet connection is fine, i already tried disabling antivirus and firewall but it stays the same.

Disabling anti-virus will not help you because Our setup as well as files have no virus.

Just Uninstall old versions .. Delete folder Uni-Android , restart PC and download and Install latest version from here.

It sure shouldn't matter, but i'd rather check before asking. I re-downloaded 8.02 again and now it seems to work. No idea why it didn't work before but as least problem is solved.

On the other hand, "ADB Locks" feature might be worth reviewing. I had G900F with fingerprint lock. There's an option there to remove locks but UAT couldn't connect with the phone via ADB when booted in custom TWRP. I could send commands manually with "Shell" feature, but nothing was read with "read info" button.
