Any incompatibility with latest Windows 10? - GSM-Forum

Ntool was flashing fine for me for long. However, today it does not work. I tried another PC and it fails again. I tried one more PC and it is failing again.

I get a connection error in red color and the phone fails to get identified by Ntool.

I have tried:

Re-installing drivers. Also installed OST (for the drivers) and the drivers from Ntool's drivers folder.
Changed the USB cable and USB port
Tried another phone - Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus
ADB and Fastboot (Downlad mode) works fine

At this point I am feeling that maybe a recent Windows 10 update caused something. Can anybody else confirm if Ntool works fine with a fully updated Windows 10 PC?

Any other advise?

why use windows 10 at all ?
