hello,

You can work with or without hot air , as we test both way are working.

If you wanna use hot air , you can reduce the temperature a little bit lower than default settings, eg 10-15 degrees lower .

While working , you can using hot air heating the top of RAM (for A9 you need do very fast , can not heat long time) then use remove tools to do that.

Denis

like the video you posted about remove iphone 7 cpu.

my problem is that, if i don't use hotair, i can not desolder the cpu

one question: from when i reach the right temperature (with acoustic signal), how much time i have to wait before remove the cpu?

usually once reach the temperature, wait 1-3 mins then can start to disassemble , this depends on how you put the PCB (mean's must touch the heating base as well), that's why we ask you 'A few pictures of the issue would help us diagnose the problem' !

why don't you insert also a "time attack" in the program

for example a countdown from when the heater reach the temperature

so i've tried to remove cpu of iphone 6...

after ten minutes at 255 degrees, still impossible to remove cpu, so i have used also hot air

then i've tried a small experiment: check the real temperature of the motherbord: setting irework at 270, i've 190 on the motherboard!

You have to install the screws for both side at the UPH, otherwise the temperature will be bad !

A, While work you must be sure the phone board contacting UPH Base very well
B, while you test temperature you should test the UPH base first , if phone board contacting UPH base very well, then test the top (the temperature should be almost similar)
C, you can also using also ESP cable to check the temperature if good
