I'll be watching this closely. My favorite devices are HTC, but I deal with a lot of Blackberry, Samsung & Motorola devices as well.

Some questions that might be appropriate to this post, maybe you guys can help me out a bit.

I'm a techie from way back, but have just recently gotten a grip on MID technology. I spend most of my days dealing with iPhones, but am an Android 'nerd'. Most of the devices I focus on are HTC, Blackberry, Motorola & Samsung (in that order). I've rooted & flashed a few HTC phones, unlocked the others, but am (obviously) a newbie beyond that. I'm looking into service tools, and see how big of a deal it is to choose the right ones (and the right teams). So my questions come down to this:

When working with Android/HTC phones:
Who keeps up with the most recent devices. I deal with EVO's, HD2's, Aria, Hero, G1, G2. CDMA flashing, IMEI Repair (for the right reasons), Push SPL & Radio, Unbrick?
I'm willing to pay a yearly fee for the help-desk/DIY tutorials & updates, but really need some good advice for equipment choices (Furious? Polar? Axe? NSPro? Infinity?)

The Same question could apply for Samsung & Motorola and get completely different answers, I know! So please, post info on the same subject about these devices!

I'm trying to be a better technician... I live, eat & breathe this stuff on a daily basis & am willing to share knowledge with the community openly.

On the other side of that, I'm a nerd about this enough to become part of a team &/or start my own at some point. Is there a USA team? I notice that most of the teams are overseas, and don't support most of the devices I deal with. Anyone on this venture? Can I jump in?

Thanks in advance,
this is a great forum...
excited to learn more.
