Blackberry 8120 and Orange UK warranty ...advice needed
 

hi mates

wish to ask all of you who are from the UK what kind of warranty Orange offers. Last April bought an 8120 from them. After 4 months it started restarting, switching off, freeze at the startup etc

Since i am not from the UK but do visit it quite a couple of times a year i could not get it over at that time. Sent it with a friend of mine just 6 months and 4 days after the purchase date. The warranty they said had expired 4 days earlier. Now as far as i know all mobiles in the EU are covered for a 2 year warranty (EU directive 1994/44/EC)

I will be going again at the end of Jan. Wish some advice maybe i could get it repaired (as dont like blackberries myself) or maybe replaced.
