=MobileMan=, what's going on? - GSM-Forum

i ordered 7 4S iphones from him for 2200 GBP, which was about $3700. sent the money through western union on November 16th, 2011. never received phones. first time(December 17th) he said the phones were returned(for no particular reason) and he mailed them again through Royal Mail service. then on January 2nd, 2012, i messeged him again saying phones were still not received. i then said if the phones were returned again, he could just refund me with the money left after the mail service cost. 10 days have passed since then and i still haven't got any response. where's my money?(or phones?)

i think it's time for me to expose more details about my case. here are our conversations through this forum.

the last message i received from him was on December 18th, 2011.

i will keep bumping this post occasionally for a year so nobody else in the forum would be cheated by this guy. currently i'm trying to contact western union and the police in UK so if anyone has a way to track down this guy's IP address, i would fully appreciate it.

the name he used to pick up money from western union was Thomas Lambie. address: 26c the calls, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, UK. ls27ew. though they could be all faked of course.

thanks a lot for that info, James. now i'm simply wondering how many accounts that bastard has in this forum. since he never showed his contact he could have used other accounts with different email ad******* for cheating. hope everyone will learn from my mistake and use skype or other instant messengers to record and verify the identity of your business partner before trading.

listen i dont why cant u guys seem to understand that real wholesaler of phone will never sell only thru WU

they will accept and would most likely want money into a bank account,
so
obviously you have fallen for the cheap price..
if the seller is only accepting WU for the phones then most likely something fishy is goin on

you're right. and don't forget to ask for escrow, it might take longer but it's safe.
