Need some advice on which box to purchase. . . - GSM-Forum

So with so many boxes out there it's kind of hard to choose which one. From what I understand almost each box has features that some other box does not have. What i'm looking for is a box that will allow me to JTAG the most models of phones that are out there now.

After looking around I've found the Octoplus box PRO and the RIFF box 2. From what i've gathered it seems like the RIFF box 2 supports more phones where the Octoplus box PRO supports A LOT of phones but also comes with other very enticing features.

Honestly , I don't know which box to purchase at this point and would really appreciate some guidance.

If my main goal is to do JTAG data recovery is the RIFF box 2 the way to go?
Are there better boxes out there?
Does the RIFF box 2 also support the phones that the original RIFF box supported?

Any and all information would be usefull right now as i'm a relative beginner to JTAG.

just buy ;
1 Easy-Jtag , if u can later buy Medusa Pro .
im talking as an experienced user .. Im using Easy-Jtag and Atf as my Jtag tool.
I sold my Medusa Pro cause I dnt use it too much
