| I'm in the computer sector (actually I'm an IT manager and IT consultant) since 1985. I saw the first viruses reaching the market and I've been trying all the antiviruses on the market in small and large environement. Actually is not only the capabilitities of the antivirus to defend the computer fom the knew viruses to consider but you must check how they react with the new viruses not in their databases, the customization to keep them away from the program you know are OK but supicious as crypted with antidebugger like themida etc etc. I use since 2000 Norton antivirus (not the firewall as i use the router one) In my opinion it the best on the market. | I've been using karspersky in a big customer of mine until the nimbda virus.. it didn't recognize the virus and to protect the system from the virus deleted completely about 600 websites  the damage been bigger then the virus action.. the customers using norton had the website sopped immediately instead and 2 days after the servers were cleaned using the tool made for it.BR Alex |
