i told all this is nothing personal,, i know smart-clip was worth,, WAS,, but if you think that i need to beg everytime for getting me out of trouble is really difficult for me.. i allready sent a mail to support with a request but they just say in simple words that need to pay 199 USD..

if u guys could check ur records you can see that i was the first one in india to buy smart-clip and promote here,, but after wards i was not able to buy from u guys as i was buying from some other distributor to save on shipping costs,, but then u removed me frm the resellers list,, np.

also i know that after this thread maybe u guys come more mad to me and even not help me in future time,, but seriously,, i am right now selling like each and every product in gsm market and hardly i get this much trouble in getting support for it

smartmoto is a verry good software but support server must be improoved as customers will be forced to buy separate acces to other server to download files (as many of us allready did).

waranty terms i find them OK
the limited license system also is a minus for smartclip

@darkeye I don't think that Your clip was REALLY 2 weeks old, maybe Your reseller or somebody made update 6 months before, and sold You after 6 months... of course You can connect clip , go to smart-clip.com , press update and You can check first update date...
i did mate i sent also this log to support mail. and i am 100% sure that it was in warranty time. and i am also sure that they can repair this clip online but they didnt do this.

I am afraid You are wrong. I can repair some clips after warranty, and You can trust me, that impossible to fix this online... Of course some clips after warranty can be repaired via server, if possible repair via serwer, They do that.

Me so glad work with Smart_clip team my clip warranty expired last year no firmware lost after warranty expired no license problem i get two times after warranty expired only mail to support four times

Smart-Clip = The best clip and box (in the same time) for motorola (I remember other clips and programs without support cxx,cxxx+,vxx clips,mototool...)

mine smart clip also dead after waranty.I have to buy 2. smart-clip and dead this underwaranty .and I buy 3. clip
in my shop have 3 smart-clip 1.dead 1 half dead (it is working with bootloader)
3.clip new one, some reseller use this a ***** and bootloader access regisrered another name before ,I cannot use bootlader accesing with this clip.
I use my half died clip for bootloadet accesing(I pay for for accessing).and than I use new clip for flashing and repairing.
I write alot of times support .they are didn't make me good support for me.(this is nor only mine everbody I think)
so,I have to use this clip because this is good for my shop.If any other good sw can I find for motorolas I can let smart-clip.But now I have to use.
I think smart-clip support team knows this.

Is my clip dead?

You guys amaze me!!!

I bet each and every one of you slagging this product has made at least 10x it's purchase cost within a short period of time, and you even get 180 days of warranty AND access to support area!!

We have 3 boxes and one of them recently failed, so we managed to repair the box ourself's and carried on using the box until 2 days ago when the hard-drive failed on our machine. We fitted new 200gb hd and when we went to connect it said we were not able to get licence and we shoudl contact smart-clip team, so we did contact them and explained problem. Within 4 hours the clip was being used again and making us more money!

We have used the clip on 3-4 different machines in the past 15 months that we have owned the clip and each time there was a problem the gsm server team were available on ICQ and dealt with the problem without fuss!

They didnt have to do this, and could have said SORRY WE CANNOT LET YOU DO THIS AGAIN, but their support guy on ICQ was quick to answer my messages and for that reason alone we will be buying extra support access off them for all 3 boxes each time the support access expires because we feel it is a small price to pay for continued support - which is very rare these days!

We are just waiting for a new update now for K1 and then the job is done!!!

I think misunderstanding here, if you sold 300 smart clip, that means you are pretty good reseller of this product, and I can not believe smart clip team gonna do you unjustice because you file the complain one day late from warranty end.

There has been misunderstanding and break down somewhere in communication.

Do you remember me? I bought rex-box, vigis, smart-clip from you etc. they costed $1000. I asking for support and replacement for dead boxes from since 2005 april.
I belive that they were under warranty period. Maybe now you can claim peiod is over. This is becuase you didn't asnwer my email, icq. Anywhere I bought from you. So only you can help me.
1. Red-box dead. Need to replace pic ic. Very bad box I ever seen. Win98 standby mode killed it.
2. Smart-clip dead. I don't know what happen to it. It was great tool.
From this thread you have trouble with smart-clip replacement.
3. Vigis working. I couldn't update my software from support site. Please provide me working login and pass.
4. If you need I can pay extra money?
Can you help me? I think this is your duty.
So can you respond me for support.
