Universal Box ( UB Dongle ) Review

When you buy a Universal Box UB Dongle, you don't buy any good support, you can ask why i tell this?

Just check this few point of my view:

- After some time, the box sudden Dead, and " nobody can help you ", Support only says " Buy Another box ", easy to say but hard to put in practice.

How many of us have this box dead ? in my case i got 2 in less than a year, bad luck or: Bad hardware, Bad support on repair box, No tools can help you much, but you can try to fix the box with program called Mprog ver. 3.5 and Box Master, this 2 programs is release by FTDI oficial web page, and you can get a backup of your Eeprom before you start to use this " Box "

I have to say the box inside have good brand components, but why sudden dead? you never get the answer from UB Team, they only know this words when you ask ( BUY ANOTHER BOX )..

so when you get this error :

Terminated with error: No device opened [00000001 ]
MCU Boot version 1.069 and up to date
device open failed at USB -> Universal Box [Serial number ]

you only have 1 option : Send to trash and BUY another box, but be carefull is possible your new box dead after some days after warranty finish......


PSD: i hope this thread stay here and NOT ERASE like much here

And if you want the programs for get backup of your Eeproms contact me and i give to try solve this high cost Inssue.....


Please Universal box team, try to help the people on this kind of errors, we trust in you when we pay for Box, we need more support, not just " box dead buy another one " you are not alone on market, are many others with very good support " No ofence " im just tell my point of view.....

Yes I even had 3 same universal box like a log on top ..

I never post and PM damage it but no response from the UB team ...

I don't ask for Free Repair for any box, im only claim for real HELP...

genie have problem like ubi..but thay have solutions for dead box..big thx for alex_bph he is the man...

hwk + ufs& mxkey x 3 = ubi

ubi box in one years goes dead..

mxkey+ ufs & hwk more than 3 years...still rocking

100% correct on Solutions about Genie, they help the *******rs, but UB forgot them after box is buy, we are here to search solution, not for compare boxes my friend

i just want to tell..how expensiv and risk..

i think if u buy ubi box.actualy u just buy cmos batrry
support and other just for bonus..
if ubi make credit to repair thay dead box..mybe..it will helpful
and risk become terminated..

Man we don´t asking for sundar, monday, etc... unlockers, we are here to find a solution about UB, if you have 4 UB good for you, but may of us buy 2 oe 3 and same problem box sudden dead, bad support of product we pay, the market is not only for UB are more options, more faster and secure to, but they make solutions for *******r.....

yes friends u r right , this is my second box. first one was ran for about 1year 2months .

but I'll contact to Chiragp for revive d box as said by moulnisky , & will let u know if sucessed.

I got some programs to try fix the box, but all fails.... if you find a solution, many of us can revive our dead boxes

UB box is Use-Less Box, When You Buy it About Your all Money is Lose..........

most of d box became faulty because failure of backup battery inside box.

don't try to remove d battery , if I'll found any solution then post here.
