I felt like I did my due diligence before deciding to go with unlockmode and it seemed like most of what I saw was positive about this operation. I put this order in on Friday night and I may have been somewhat impatient about getting the code once the initial 48 hours had elapsed, but that is their promise to their customers so I was only holding them to their own standards. Ok fine the server was down or someone was taking the weekend off....but by Monday afternoon, I think I would have had what I paid money for. By Tuesday I am feeling a little frustrated and beginning to feel like I am getting cheated. I guess my attitude was a lil much For the record unlockmode did seem to promptly refund the paypal charge after informing them I would be calling my CC company, I cant think that AMEX works that fast. I guess they thought it was the least they could do after calling me a monkey and telling me to go EFF myslef. Please also note that no edits were made to this string other than softening the F word a bit. I merely stated how I felt and I did note that I was refunded. #2 he does not have 100% feedback on ebay. #3 One does not conduct business in this manner....well at least that is not how one retains customers here in the US, perhaps it is different in the UEM. |

Member: 469246 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Most sellers would of likely just taken your money, ignored your email, and when the service finally does come back, only then would you have gotten your code. You clearly dont know how these things work if you think yoiu can just hit up another seller and get a code if you contact them when the serviers are down. Most resellers get their codes off the same sources, so when **** goes down, most of us are all ****ed..you will wait just like you would of with unlockmode. And if you have a problem with the way the system works, dont get your phone unlocked, and thats all there is to it. You clearly havent dealt with other sellers if you think having to wait for a code is such a travesty. |

Actually most of what I read was here and other electronics/cel phone type websites like this one. I guess you fail to see/realize that the whole point of this is that I give someone $20 for a service. Did not get the services within the time THEY state. I question this and I am the bad guy? Ohhhkaaay. Like I said maybe you are used to a different level of service in the UAE, but that aint how I roll here in the USA. | |

You are kidding right? Ok if unlock mode is such a big company why cant I look them up on Hoovers. Do you even know how to define big company? Cause even if I give him credit for unlocking 1400 phones at $20 each that is $28,000/year. Lets Triple his ebayt sales no lets quadruple it...that is still only $56,000/year. That in no ways constitutes a big company. $250 million/year thats a big company.....but what I will argue is that ABSOLUTELY YES I think that companies like Unlockmode.com depend on people like me..you...the guy down the street to stay in business. If I told one of my customers to go Eff themselves because they are calling me telling me that its not their problem that we have a circuit down in Kansas city that is causing them to fail calls...you know what? They are right its my problem because I am providing them a service that they pay for. Its my problem. But lets assume I am having a bad day and I tell the customer "you know what you are a pain in my butt....you are a monkey and you know what else go Eff yourself Mr. Customer" Besides being fired, The company I work for would be losing out on more than just $20. So the point again....The issue with me is not the wait as much as it is the way I was addressed. I ordered my Subsidy Password on Saturday morning, he finally responded on Sunday night saying that he'll send it in first thing Monday morning. According to the Web site, within 48 hours - but usually less than an hour - you should have your code. It is now Wednesday night. I have yet to recieve the code, but I was told that I shouldn't e-Mail him, he'll send me the code when he gets it. This guy is a total and complete crock. Filed a complaint with PayPal waiting for our money back. |
