Hi
i use Ersa I-CON Nano and Xytronic LF3000 more Hakko FX951 (chinese clone ) these as iron solder .
Ersa with small handpiece and 0,1 mm thin tip so useful for capacitors, resistor very small, 0802 , 01002 ..
(unfortunately 65w are few)
Flux :
amtech( original no clone ) nc559 very good but for me the best is Mg chemical 8341 - NO CLEAN, although it may be more dense.

come on share your experiences !

hi
yes for me the Hakko clone is discreet , if the original much more cost there will be a reason..if you use it a few minutes it seems ok but if you use it for a couple of hours see its limits ..
anyway , tips cost are important ..hakko family Fx spare tips are expensive respect to others.
to distinguish if the Solder station investment is for hobby or for professional use..

Great-value, if you want to work well you have to invest on materials without overdoing it of course.

There are lot of model..but almost all use same f.u.king letcon..poor power to tips! You need to operate at 330-350 degree..gordak,net,quiq,baku,luky..all use same s.h.i.t..all are same s.h.i.t.

hi
before stating that all are s.h.i.t. you should think that those who approach the world of hardware repair, building an idea using those cheap stations ..
even the gsm master use economic stations, is the experience that makes the real difference..
