Alcatel C62 Unlock code - GSM-Forum

Hi. I have an Alcatel C62 phone a friend from France gave me, but it is still locked to a network (a french network I think, or maybe english). Can anyone let me know if i can use a code to unlock? I am in China, and have had my phone pickpocketed twice in 7 days, so would appreciate any help.
