hi. i'm having problems with minhea's soft for BE1. i can only get:

Connect phone. Power must be OFF. Press any key to start ...

Sending BOOT1 ...
Sending BOOT2 ...
Sending BOOT3 ...

and nothing else. i've read that many of you guys have successfully revived dead alcatels with this soft. please, can you report what SO, hardware (PC) and Cable schematic are you using? thanx a lot

I have P3 800, MB ASUS CUSL2, 256 RAM and use a cable similiar to misiek Universal 3.0 (just one diode and one 4k7 resistor)

Hi Dark Leming!
I use a Pentium 133Mhz,32Ram.Try another Pc up to Pentium 200Mz.
Or I receive this error if I am runing under windows,or if the batery is empty.

P.s:
From my experience with alcatel db,v.163 not works very well this prog,just some version of 163 I repaird.

Run mihnea from comand prompt(clear dos).Must work.If stop after boot 3 maybe your phone have hardware failure (damage PTWL2207 processor).

Hi Dark!
Mobil Plus has right,if the phone doesen't comunicate with Andromeda software,it's blocking at boot3...with Mihnea's.So it's an hardware problem.

Hi,

Use USPU 4.38r for BE1 phones.It successfully unlocks these phones.Also you can read or write flash at same ersion phones for BE1.

Hi DarkLemming,

The Minea's soft runs under dos mode, the error you'd experienced indicates a hardware problem, might be on the phone or on the interface itself. I'm sending to you the schematic of the interface I use......I was able to repair a lot of alcatels using this soft and interface.

By the way, big tnx for the shell you
developed..it is the best and made unlocking easier.

Zuela's BEx Service Software works fine with dead alcatels running in DOS MODE. Try it to believe.

Yes, Be1 Service Software by Zulea can also repair and at the same time unlocks during the process.

I use it in repairing problems such as: "no network signal", "can't power on" and etc, assuming of course, that their is no hardware problem on the unit......Andromeda 5.9 works good also on repairing.

But in a severe case, say: unit indicates "insert card" after receiving network a few seconds, original flash not saved and reflasing it with same version isn't successfull ....Minea's soft is better.

Dark Lemming i think that problem is your cable - or your PC. I have the some problem on my notebook(ports) - i run it on other pc in pure dos mode and everyting was ok...hardware problem is the last thing. (but may be)....

hi!

i have the same problem with DarkLemming. boot1,boot2,boot3...sometimes it stops erasing flash and i have to start again. i have 2 PC and it doesn't work at all. i have 2 cables, one is misiek modified with bc547 and the other one designed for USPU. they work well with other softs.

pls send me the modified one with diode and resistor only..

MY SOLUTION TO DEAD BE1 phones: (below 16F)
1. Read phone with andromeda 4.8/4.9.
2. Write again using the flash read. IMPT!!! (just to heat up the flash)
3. Run Service Software by Zulea. It depends on sw version of phone.
If phone is 16C and below, use BE1v12.3(special for SS-andromeda).
If phone is 16D, use BE1v12.3 (protected version-only for 16D).
4. When done, disconnect..turn phone on.. IT'S ALIVE!!!
5. Do the usual check (charge battery, make a call, etc.)
6. The phone is not only alive but also unlocked!!!

note: not writing back the flash (in no.2) and using zulea serv sw doesnt help at all..from my experience phone is still dead)
