Master Reset
On the alcatel homepage i found the way to perform master reset on alcatel phones. Please visit Reset Del Celular / Preguntas Frecuentes / Asistencia / Venezuela / Home - ALCATEL Mobile Phones

Also on the OT series (touch) master reset will perform for pressing the power button and the upper side button for a few seconds. The phone will ask if you are shure.

im trying this to reset the alcatel ot-708 but it doesnt seem to do it. do i have to press the power button and the volume up button at the same time?

i mean the screen comes up to ask "are you sure you want to do this", but it wont allow me to press YES or NO. The screen just freezes. Its a touch screen

press the volume up button again to continue formatting the phone!!!
