Member: 161937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Alcatel One Touch 501 - BE5 124 My phone asks me for a 'network code' on start-up. Is it possible to unlock this phone via a code? Or do I need a cable? If I need a cable, is it possible to make one? Or do I need to buy one? thanx for your help in advance -dubble |

Member: 61851 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1604862 Thanks Meter: 117 | I think that you beter use program and make cable,because it is the fastest way and also the easyest and you are not paying anyone for codes.Extract this rar files in one folder and use the software inside.the cable can be made easy from the bruce-gsmpinout.rar file.you can use any rs232 9 pin cable for com to make it. try it and post then regards |

Member: 161937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | thanx for the files iki, i used a 9pin cable from an old mouse, it had 4 connections: GND, RTS, TX and RX i connected them to me phone: GND-Pin2, RTS-Pin4, TX-Pin7 and RX-Pin8 but the Robson-GSM program says "Can't connect to phone" when i click 'Connect' I also tried substituting RTS-Pin4 with a DTR signal, still nothing Am I missing somethign really obvious here? |

Member: 61851 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1604862 Thanks Meter: 117 | dubble as you can see on bruce pinout it says that on pin 4 on phone has to be +5v.make short cut between pin 4 and pin 9(this positive on charger) and try like that.also at robson sw try with cable 2. regards |

Member: 161937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | thats what im using to connect the wires to the phone (a modified base-charger bit) heres the whole thing: ive tried the shorting pin4 and charge pin, as pictured, how do i use the software? do i plug it all together, without SIM & with phone off, and then click 'connect'? or with SIM in, and phone on? -dubble ps. using nokia battery as the original one is a bit dead, will buy another one if i can get this thing to work pps. doesnt the official cable have some sort of electronics inside it, like chips and stuff?is this really going to work Last edited by dubble; 07-18-2005 at 17:46.
