I have Ņeleron 800 motherboard chaintech i815
Cable with external power

GSM Boy flasher works fine (read/write - I use flasher v1.4), mcomm's flashers works good only for writing (I can't read flash).
BE4 reader by S2 gsm - works good for flash reading.

Use 44oBx motherboard - all soft will work fine

I also got this XP sh***t, it works fine for some other things, but for unlocking? Nope...
Go back to win98 or winME.
If you want anyway keep using XP, start comp i SAFE MODE using F8 key, and choose Safe mode on startup menu.
I hope this will help you, if windows XP manage to start, open device manager and remove old stuff - hardware from old MB -, and restart you comp.
Or you can start setup again and choose repair option after first restart during instalation, but this is fof "power users"...
