OT easy v16A - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I've got an OT easy v16A,i try to unlock it using andromeda 4.1 but the prog will hung-up when it try to connect to phone!And i try using andromeda 5.0 but it says cannot read phone type.
Please, can someone help me on this i need to unlock it badly.

MP!,I received yuor mail and i try running the prog. but it say's exe. file error and i also try d/l from the link but it's still the same.
What's the problem?Is there something wrong with the prog. or it's on my computer?By the way i'm using win98(pentium II).
Pls. help me !!!

Yes!I succesfully unlock my OTE v16A!

By the way does andromeda 4.8 works in OTC v16B cause my bro. bought an Alcatel after learning I open my phone but when i try unlocking it,it only read phone but when i try clear sp lock the phone will turn on then say "Break or Error!!! Check Bat.".What seems to be the problem?

CAn you help me on this one?

Can you read flash your phone 16A.
I need a 16A AMD 2mb, if it is, please send it to me, I need it to fix my phone.
And regarding your brother's phone, Andromeda 4.8 won't work! use BE1srv.exe 9.3 it works!!!

I need also to unlock my OTE v16A BE1.
I tried andromeda 4.8 and 5.0 it didn't work for me. Maybe I am using the wrong cable (I am using the scheme with external battry). Using this cable always gives "Break or Error!!! Check Bat.". also there is no information in the field for IMI or version, what seems to be the problem? maybe you can help me seeing that you had same problem before? If I am using the wrong cable will you send me the scheme for the right one?

Andromeda 5.0 or the crack version don't work!
But Andromeda 4.8 WORK FINE !!!
I just use the Gitman's Cable, and modified it with:
Follow Gitman Schematics but follow these
modifications...

1. Instead of BC550 use BC547B
(works better on most PC)

2. Do not use RS232 "Power Stealing"
Disregard Pin 4 from RS232 and also
remove 1N4148, 100 Ohms R., 47uF and
Zener 5.1

You must use regulated external power
supply instead, so replace above with
9V battery + 78L05... Connect output
of 78L05 to Pin 16 directly of Max232.
Connect (+) of batter to input of
78L05 and connect (-) of battery to pin
15 of Max232. Also not forget to connect
GND of 78L05 to pin 15 also of Max232 or
any ground in your design...

My phone is a16A-1MB,but if u want flash of my phone,please tell me how to read flash on phone and what i'm going to use?
By the way,how can i run prog of BE1srv.exe9.3,cause i try running it but i don,t what to do after opening the prog.?

Thanks to speed for the information, I had my phone unlocked successfully.
One thing though I cant control the melody volume anymore it keeps locked on the high tone; +/- buttons has no effect.

Must be in pure DOS mode!
and put the file in a directory (like BE1)! not in the root directory!
For 16A just use Andromeda 4.8!
