BB 8830 repair esn with workshop

If you need to repair esn in a blackberry 8830 world edition with cdma workshop, you have to downgrade software version to v.4.2.2.176, then you have to scan with workshop memory start 1015:0000 to 1100:0000, then save it (you will find 17 addresses) at the end it will show some reading error, just ignore it.

i though the bb8830 couldnt fix or change the ESN.. but im gonna try it tonight if it works.... thanks for the info... and the new update for CDMA workshop has pretty good stuff..
