I like to clone a old CDMA(800 Mhz) to new CDMA,so that old CDMA can be discard... what are the important things that I need to change(ESN/Min)..in order to achieve that? pls enlighten me... thanks in advance.. |

Member: 24743 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | If you want to keep the same number, just take the phone to your service provider and ask them change the ESN connected to your phone number. This is rather simple to do. If you change your ESN on a phone, you may also need to completely edit all the programming (phone type code, etc) so that the system "thinks" that it is the same phone. I do not know what this would gain you. |

Member: 24743 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | It is not done by software, you edit the system programming manually. Steve Crow has the instructions for manually programming some phones on his site, but editing things like the phone model might cause your phone to be rejected by the system. |
