CAUTION BEFORE UPGRADE
1)Make sure your handset can turn on and work well and also make sure handset have enough power full at least 40% power level.

2)Check image file which you will upgrade ensure that it is correct upgrade with invalid image file will cause handset damage.

3)Check physical connection ensure connection is stable, communication interruption will cause handset damage pull cable out or insufficient power will cause communication interruption.

4)All operation must be run without R-UIM, otherwise ESN will be lost.


UPGRADE INTRODUCE
1 Before Upgrade

1)click browse button and select correct image file you want to upgrade.

2) Select a serial port that connect to handset.

3)Check and make sure all selection are correct click Start button to begin upgrade. We do NOT suggest you launch other application while upgrading



2 Backup NV
Before Upgrade Haier Maintain Tool can restore RF parameter



3 Erase Flash
After complete restore Haier Maintain Tool begin Erasing flash



4 Write Bin File
The status bar display the upgrade status and progress display Finished means upgrade accomplish and display Failed means upgrade failed. If Failed before erasing stage you may try to restart handset if it works and click Start again if unfortunately, upgrade Failed after erasing stage，you must try to upgrade with recovery mode.



5 Restore NV
After operation over Upgrade haven’t complete please wait for handset restart if handset does not restart , please restart handset by manual



About 1 minute Haier Maintain Tool can restore RF parameter into handset


6 Complete Upgrade
After Restore，handset can restart if handset does not restart by auto please start by manual after all Upgrade complete。

Recovery Mode
When it is failed to upgrade the mobile phone program with Haier Maintain Tool , then lead to the mobile phone can’t boot-strap. We can try to use the Recovery mode of Haier Maintain Tool to upgrade the mobile phone program over again.

1)Run Haier Maintain Tool , select the right Image file and right serial port.

2) Click Start Button, then Haier Maintain Tool will try to connect to the mobile (SayHello).

If failed, Haier Maintain Tool will enter the Recovery mode, at the same time, the message of “please power on” will show at the status bar. Now, Both press the “*” key and the power key on mobile phone to power up it. If the cable you use has the function of electrification, you need to press ”*” key when the message “please power on ” is show, then insert the cable in the connected socket.

4)If the message “erasing” show at the status bar, it says the mobile phone has connected with DloaderLite, and it is upgrading now.

5) If DloaderLite can’t find the mobile, the message “failed” will show. User can cut the electricity (take the battery off), then try it again from the first step.

3 appear handset base information

4 if handset has not connect with compute ,appear Error dialog.


2 Unlock Fuction
1 first handset connect with compute，click phone menu item

2 appear Unlock phone item，click Unlock phone item

3 wait for a moment ,handset will restart.

4 if handset has not connect with compute ,will appear Error Dialog.
