OK, since you've offered, how about this:

I have two CDMA StarTACs. One is malfunctioning, so I bought a replacement on eBay. Of course, Verizon will not activate it, so I need to copy the serial from the old one to the new one. Or copy the entire ROM image of one phone to the other. It doesn't matter; I just need the new phone to have the identity of the old one.

I built a working MiniCHAB and it reads the phone with Identity Programmer, but the ESN mappers I've found are crap; they generate invalid images with bad checksums.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Gavin
