Samsung A130 CDMA - Code for Test menu

Samsung A130 CDMA handset

To enter test menu press

47*68*13580

Press 0 3 2 to display current handset MIN - you will need this later on when doing the NAM1 reprogram, press 1 to display the entire MIN - write down the first 10 digits as that is the handsets IMSI number.

To bypass the handsets SERVICE PROGRAM CODE you can change the carrier ID.

To enter the carrier ID code in the TEST MENU press # 1 2 6

Do not change carrier ID code unless you have got the current handset MIN and also know the network settings for your CDMA provider:

Example:

MCC: 505
MNC: 11

PRL: NO

Unless you know the network settings don't change the carrier ID or have the the actual SPC for the handset.

Carrier ID codes for the Samsung A130:

Any other 2 digit carrier ID should only be used if you can find the SPC for the handset ... in other words don't bother using them.

The Telstra carrier ID codes (as displayed above) excluding carrier ID 54 the the SPC is 000000.

To change the carrier ID:

enter the 2 digit carrier ID code then press OK key wait 30 seconds then press # 002 to exit the TEST MENU

the handset will auto reboot and display what ever carrier ID you selected:

i.e.:
TELCEL

To enter the Service Menu, enter on the keypad:

Menu 5 *

Then press 1 and enter the 3 digit lock code or the 6 digit SPC.

The display will show

NAM1:
MIN
0000000000 (or 3030303030)

Enter the 10 digit MIN you wrote down, press OK

It will then display NAM1 / MDN (Mobile Directory Number - your mobile telephone number should be entered)

Press OK

HOME SID:

Enter your Home SID (i.e.: if Telstra then enter 8320)

NAM1 NAME: Enter your Service Providers name then press OK

Your handset will then display basic NAM programing complete.

Press OK

the handset will reboot and then register with your service provider.
