might be you can tray to write *3001#12345#
and then in the menu you can chose field test
and chose eneble, then turn off your hand phone
then turn on again,

i have nokia 6510 for gsm can you tell me how to turn on the test mode,

You dont have test mode in Nokia 6510 gsm phone .. What do you need to do ..? Why you need test mode ?

There is Test Mode and Local Mode in all DCT4 Nokia models, you can put the phone into these modes with a command or via a hardware solution. On the screen of the Nokia appears: test mode or local mode and these modes are only for service purposes. Nothing more and nothing less.

i need test mode to check the siganl from operator,
cause i work as engginer in telecomunication, and my job is to checked the signal,
can u give the code?

when i switched on the phone it is showing "Local Mode"

what should i do?

this cuz you can only read the information in these phones and cannot change it

i have opened the test mode but of no use
cuz it shows many things but the spc is hidden
so i want to know the use of the test modes in cdma phones

I have the solution for Nokia 2280. I have complete software to convert it from Reliance to other networks. But it does not change the ESN.
