coil = L (BIG one)
if this solution does not help you will check cobba (maybe some ground pin dried join under it)!

I solved this problem on many 2100, using this following solution:

1/ Flash a FULL FLASH from a good 2100 ( version 5.41 . 5.49 ...) using a flasher, for me it is knok.
2/After flash, the 2100 will still in contact service; click on set IMEI, use original IMEI;then quick set FAID,then set SP locks to defaults.
3/ now, the 2100 will work, sometimes, it's working without prob, sometimes, the 2100 will ask for security code, after entering 12345, the 2100 will not find the network and restart after 10s, then displays SIM card not accepted...

To fix it,

1/ After unlock, insert a SIM card, enter the security code (12345), go to the menu, restore factory settings, now the 2100 will not ask for any more security code but still not able to catch the network.
2/ Go to parameters, Network selection, choose manual, Then the 2100 will display all available network, choose your home network, and then it should be OK.

If the 2100 restart before it displays the list of networks, just re-unlock it and research for network again (it wouldn't ask for any more security code).
