Post 3110 "CALL NOT ALLOWED"


i am not very familiar with the 3110 but whenever i press the call button (with or without entering number), it says "call not allowed". why?

only emergency calls were allowed.

pls help!!!

Hi, I used to own a 3810. Not exectly the same but quite similar. I'm not 100% sure but its probably due to any of the following:

a&gt; Call cost limit setting
b&gt; fixed dialling on (should be off)
c&gt; any of the call barring features

You could also try to use another SIM card. If it works, Its in the phone settings.

b&gt; off
c&gt; outgoing calls: service not active

i used both my simcard and both doesnt work (but they worked in my other fones)

You dont need the cable, just go to the settings menu and find restore factory option, phone will ask for phone code, put 12345 the default, and its all.

Than use Nokia_Tool_by_pro_035 to read the security code with Mbus cable, than use it.

sid.exe only calculates security code and not simlock codes
