Help with 6210 and PC Suite - GSM-Forum

Can somebody please help me?? When installing PC Suite (v 4.06), the software does not detect my phone. I can install by telling it is on com1, but when I run the program or connection manager, the phone is not connected, although it tells me I have a cable connected - DLR-3P. I am running WindowsMe, with PC Suite 4.06 downloaded from nokia website, and my phone is a 6210 - software version 3.04, on Orange network. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks.

i 2 had the same prob

when i upgrade from Nokia PC Suite 4.05 [6210]

I can send u a copy of the CD with 4.05 onit email me with your info

Sorry mate i cant upload it I only have a 56k Modem [file[CD] is to big]

If u live in the uk i can mail u a copy.

i did a couple of experiments. its not compatible with win ME. revert back to win 98se to make PCsuite 4.06 & 6210 connectivity stable

MDR is right!

I have Windows ME and when i upgrade to Nokia PC Suite 4.06 [6210] fone was not found <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

So all i can say is try installing Nokia PC Suite 4.05 [6210] [I can send u a copy of the CD (UK Only)]

Or just try 2 find it on the net somewhere <img src="cool.gif" border="0"> [I dont no where u can download ver 4.05 from, try nokia.
